Vivostat Fibrin Sealant
Vivostat® Fibrin Sealant is produced from the patient's own blood and offers a multitude of benefits to both the patient and the surgeon.
For a long time, experts have been creating autologous fibrin sealant by combining thrombin and fibrinogen, which is a complex, labor-intensive, and time-consuming process.
OrganoGEN uses the Vivostat® system to simplify this process and make it faster, safer and better.
The Vivostat® system is unique because it uses a patented biotechnological process to reliably and reproducibly create autologous fibrin sealant and related products without using cryoprecipitation and without the need for a separate thrombin component. Additionally, Vivostat® Fibrin Sealant does not contain any bovine components and does not contain aprotinin.
It is designed to be used in a variety of settings, whether in a surgical setting or in a central location such as a transfusion center or blood bank, and it is easy to use without the need for special training.
