Overview
Endoret® (PRGF) is an autologous Plasma Rich in Growth Factors system from BTI Biotechnology Institute, the Anitua group, headquartered in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain. The output is sourced 100% from the patient's own blood. PRGF is distinct from generic platelet-rich plasma (PRP) by virtue of its standardised preparation protocol and characterisation - the differentiator to lead with when discussing the technology with surgeons or patients.
A single blood draw yields three formulations the clinician selects from based on the application:
- Liquid - for infiltration and intra-articular or peri-tendinous injection - Clot scaffold - for filling surgical defects and soft-tissue voids - Fibrin membrane - for tissue augmentation, oral-surgery grafts, and wound coverage
The combination reduces pain and inflammation and accelerates tissue healing. Endoret® PRGF is used across orthopaedics and sports medicine (tendinopathy, mild-to-moderate osteoarthritis, soft-tissue injury, post-surgical augmentation), oral surgery and implant dentistry, and dermatology and aesthetic medicine.

Indications & Contraindications
Indicated For
- Tendinopathy - rotator cuff, lateral epicondylitis ("tennis elbow"), plantar fascia, patellar tendon, Achilles
- Mild-to-moderate osteoarthritis - knee, hip, shoulder, ankle, hand
- Soft-tissue injury and post-surgical augmentation
- Oral surgery and implant dentistry
- Dermatology and aesthetic medicine
Contraindicated For
- Active local or systemic infection
- Severe haematological disorders precluding processing of the patient's own blood
- Active malignancy at the treatment site
- Pregnancy or breast-feeding (clinician's discretion)
