OrganoGEN is a GESY-registered supplier (supplier code ZC1093). The devices we distribute fall into three groups. GESY-covered today: Touch® CMC, KeriFlex®, KeriFuse®, Hofer Osteosynthesis, AUXILOCK®, and SmartBone®, used by a participating surgeon at a GESY-contracted hospital with no separate charge to the patient. Private-pay (outside GESY): Vivostat® and the regenerative-medicine therapies Endoret® PRGF, Marrow Cellution™ BMAC, and Tulip® Nanofat. GESY by individual application (per case): Tailor Surgery patient-specific guides and custom-made implants, for which OrganoGEN prepares and submits a reimbursement application before manufacture. Coverage is assigned per device and can change; confirm the current status with us when scheduling.

A device made for one patient cannot carry a catalogue code. OrganoGEN prepares and submits an individual reimbursement application for each case, and approval is secured before manufacturing begins, because a custom-made device cannot be cancelled once production starts.

What is covered?

Most OrganoGEN procedures and standard orthopaedic devices are GESY-covered when performed by a participating surgeon at a GESY-contracted hospital - Touch® CMC, KeriFlex®, KeriFuse®, Hofer® plates, AUXILOCK®, and SmartBone® are GESY-covered; the implant or device cost is included in the hospital reimbursement and patients are not billed separately. Vivostat® and the regenerative-medicine therapies (Endoret® PRGF, Marrow Cellution™ BMAC, Tulip® Nanofat) are private-pay - these sit in the private-care tier in Cyprus.

Eligibility for patients

Cyprus residents enrolled in GESY are covered when the procedure is performed by a participating surgeon at a contracted hospital, for an approved indication.

Eligibility for hospitals

Hospitals contracted with the Health Insurance Organisation (HIO) can bill OrganoGEN devices through standard GESY tariff codes. We provide tender support and stocking guidance - contact procurement.

Eligibility for surgeons

Surgeons must be GESY-participating and credentialed at a contracted hospital. We arrange surgeon training and clinical follow-up - contact us.

Self-pay & international patients
