Overview
Hofer Medical Solutions is an Austrian orthopaedic-trauma manufacturer based in Fürstenfeld, Styria. More than twenty years building locking-plate systems, with approximately 95% of production done in-house at the Fürstenfeld site. That vertical integration matters in trauma, where matched plate-screw-instrument tolerances translate directly into intra-operative fit.
The product family covers eight anatomical regions from clavicle to foot. Titanium throughout, anatomically pre-contoured locking plates, compression plates, cannulated screws, and the matched instrumentation, with the patented StickFIT polyaxial locking system as the technology spine.
Technology focus
The headline differentiator is patented StickFIT polyaxial locking. A spheric screw head locks at any angle inside a ±35° cone (70° total range) through a high-precision screw-driver interface that prevents cold welding and fretting corrosion. In practice that means the surgeon can angle a locking screw away from a fracture line or existing hardware without losing fixation stability, and the screw will not seize during removal.
Coverage spans eight anatomical regions: clavicle, proximal humerus, elbow, distal radius and ulna, hand, fibula, distal tibia, and foot, with long-bone plating across the upper and lower extremity. All-titanium construction throughout. Anatomically pre-contoured plates, compression plates, cannulated screws, and matched instrumentation round out the system.

GESY in Cyprus
Hofer is GESY-covered across most standard internal-fixation indications in Cyprus, from shoulder to foot. When implanted by a participating surgeon at a GESY-contracted hospital, the implant cost is included in the hospital reimbursement and there is no out-of-pocket cost to the patient.

OrganoGEN is the authorized Hofer distributor in Cyprus. We hold consignment stock for the most common anatomical sets, provide OR-side support for case-specific instrumentation, and run the GESY ZC-code paperwork so the participating hospital sees no friction at the procurement layer.
Hofer fixation pairs naturally with SmartBone® for bone-void filling, Vivostat® for haemostasis and sealing, and Endoret® PRGF on the regenerative end, in the same trauma and reconstructive cases.
